Loading... Please wait...The Audition SP Basic is the ideal High Power hearing aid for budget-conscious consumers with Moderate to Profound Hearing Loss. The Audition SP Basic comes with "3 Trim Pots". This allows the user to "Self Tune" the hearing aid. One Trim Pot is for Output (sets maximum loudness-helps with that crunching/crackling sounds). One for Low Frequency and one for High Frequency.
Opinion on Trim Pots: Trim Pots, normally adjusted by a healthcare professional, are for users that are familiar with tuning, using simple equalizers (think stereo). If you don't want to mess with Trim Pots, the Rosebud SP might be a better option.
The Audition SP Basic is best suited for individuals with Moderate to Severe/Profound Hearing Loss. That means your Hearing Loss would be in the 22-82% Range. This hearing also includes Powerful Telecoil. Which eliminates the feedback when you put phone close to the hearing aid.
The hearing aids are strong enough to handle everyday wear and tear, and their outstanding battery life (up to 337 hours--uses size 13) means minimal cost for replacement batteries. These hearing aids are larger than the mini Behind the Ear Open Fits to provide room for larger amplifier and components.

"Just a quick report on the hearing aids, they are fine about the same as the one i had before, i am pleased with them, especially since i did not have to pay thousands of dollars for them. i have had a couple of people who paid between 4-6000 dollars, and for some it did not work verywell, it really depends on the kind of hearing loss you have, but I am ok with these."
